Gradebook 2 training, rSmart 'discovery sessions' added to fall SmartSite schedule
09/25/2009
The fall training schedule for SmartSite is now available. It includes sessions in Gradebook 2, the completely new grading tool that replaces the old Gradebook with the start of fall quarter.
In addition to drop-in clinics and new user training, the autumn lineup also includes "discovery sessions" so faculty can pilot-test the way that SmartSite will work once operation of the system is transferred to rSmart.
SmartSite, which runs on Sakai open-source software, is the campus's preferred system for managing coursework or sharing projects online--and will be the only campus system for coursework, starting fall 2010. Faculty, staff and students use it to teach, work, study, and do research.
Please direct questions about training to trainers@smartsite.ucdavis.edu.
